SOFTWARE PARTNER SINCE 2012 · LINZ, AUSTRIA

We build software as if we still had to run it ourselves in ten years.

We have been running ours since 2012.

Since 2012 we have been building and operating LingoHub — a software product used daily by customers across three continents. That experience goes into every system we build for our clients.

Built in Linz. Working across Europe.

Our team sits in Linz, Austria. Our clients sit in Austria, Germany and further afield. We work remotely by default, but we come to see you — and you can come and see us.

Servers in the EU. Contracts under Austrian law. Someone to talk to in your own time zone.

Editorial notes

Case study teaser: three cards with sector · system type · duration · one result in figures. The metrics in the cases block are set as [KPI] and [KPI-LABEL] because the values in the design mockup are invented and must be replaced with verifiable figures before launch.

THE REAL PROBLEM

Most software projects don’t fail during the build. They fail afterwards.

Go-live gets celebrated, the project team dissolves, the vendor moves on. Two years later nobody wants to touch the code. Four years later someone asks whether it wouldn’t be cheaper to start over.

We know that curve — and we had to escape it. Our own product has been running since 2012. We could never rely on someone else cleaning up the mess. That’s why we build differently.

WHY HEMJU

Operational responsibility since 2012. At our own expense.

LingoHub is a translation management platform we founded in 2012 and still build, run and sell ourselves. It has survived three technology generations, the GDPR transition, multiple security audits, scaling phases, and the introduction of AI translation in live operation. We paid for every shortcut we ever took. That leaves a mark.

We think in operating costs, not project costs.
We know what a badly chosen framework costs after seven years — we paid that bill ourselves.
Maintainability is not an option here. It is a precondition.
Our code has to be readable by people who were not with us in 2012. It is.
We use AI where it pays off.
Machine translation and AI-assisted quality checks run in production in LingoHub, for paying customers.
Security and data protection are daily routine, not a project phase.
As a SaaS provider with international customers, we are audited regularly.
We will still be here in five years.
We have been here since 2012. With the same founders.
