Custom software that matches your processes — not the other way round.
Standard software is a good choice as long as your process matches the standard. The moment it stops matching, the expensive part begins: workarounds, adaptations and a spreadsheet running alongside. Custom software pays off exactly where your process is your competitive edge.
When custom software is the right decision
- Your core process differs from the industry standard on purpose — and that difference is your advantage.
- You run three to five systems that do not talk to each other, and the gap is filled with manual work every day.
- A standard product would fit 60 % of the case, and the remaining 40 % costs more than building your own.
- You depend on a vendor whose roadmap is not yours.
- A spreadsheet has grown into a business-critical system over the years, and nobody wants to be responsible for it.
When it is not
We will tell you in the first conversation. Accounting, payroll, CRM and time tracking are solved problems. Building custom software for them is, in almost every case, burning money. If we see that at your company, we say so. Even when it costs us the job.
What you get
Architecture that outlives the hype. We choose technologies by whether they, and developers for them, will still exist in eight years — not by what came up in conference talks last month.
Code other people can read. Documentation, tests and structure are part of the delivery, not an afterthought. You should be able to change supplier at any time. If you stay, it should be because of us and not because you have no way out.
Operations designed in from day one. Monitoring, logging, backup strategy, deployment automation and incident plans belong to the first delivery. A system without an operations concept is not finished.
Your code is yours. Full transfer of rights, repository access from day one, no black box.
What does it cost?
The honest answer: it depends, and anyone who names a number before discovery is guessing.
What we can say: the Discovery Sprint costs [AMOUNT] at a fixed price and gives you a cost range accurate to roughly ±25 %. After that we work either time and materials with an agreed budget cap, or in fixed-price sections. Our day rate is [AMOUNT].

Technology list in the
techblock: please replace with your actual stack. The source lists these entries explicitly as an illustrative example only.

Technologies
- Ruby on Rails
- TypeScript / React
- PostgreSQL
- Python
- Docker / Kubernetes
- AWS EU regions / EU cloud
- Elasticsearch
- Redis
We are deliberately not technology-agnostic — we are good at what we have run in production for years. If your requirement does not fit our stack, we say so, and we point you to someone who fits better.
How it runs
- 1
First conversation
(30 min, free) — We understand the problem and say honestly whether we are a fit.
- 2
Discovery Sprint
(3 weeks, fixed price) — Requirements, architecture, prototype, a cost range you can plan with.
- 3
Development
(iterative, two-week cycles) — Every two weeks something you can actually use.
- 4
Go-live
With an operations concept, training and documentation.
- 5
Run & Evolve
The longest and most important section.
